Catholic Cemeteries Endowment Burse
Our Catholic Cemeteries are commonly referred to as "reliquaries of Saints" or "God's Holy Acres". We maintain them as places of beauty, serenity and honor attributed to our traditional values as an abiding love for our dead. They become in time, historical landmarks, beautifully landscaped, achieved only when cemetery management and lot owners plan for the future.
Historically, the yield on cemetery funds was less than inflation, the rise in labor rates and the CPI growth. These low risk investments made it difficult to protect and increase the principal of the funds realizing its' primary purpose was to insure the economic stability of the cemeteries in perpetuity just as they are now. Consequently, some catch-up is required.
This can be achieved by bequeathing to the Catholic Cemeteries Association a sum specified in a will or by a current donation to the Perpetual Care Fund for cemetery care and beautification.
It is our duty and responsibility to educate our families on this extremely important function. If you would like to make a donation, please make your check payable to the Catholic Cemeteries Endowment Burse and mail to:
